SALVATION IS BY GOD’S GRACE
Salvation is a free gift. It cannot be received in any other way. It is the favor of God upon sinners, and all sinners are undeserving. Indeed, all sinners deserve hell. God steps into man’s world and provides redemption through the sacrifice of His own Son. ...
REMEMBERING ROSE
By Lloyd Streeter Valentine's Day reminds me of Rose White. It reminds me of this great Christian Lady not only because she was born on this day in 1915, but also because she was a person who really knew how to love people. I always thought that it was appropriate...
A SIDELIGHT
By Lloyd L. Streeter Here is an interesting sidelight to the story of Longfellow's I HEARD THE BELLS ON CHRISTMAS DAY. Most people have heard about how the song came to be written, about how depressed Henry Longfellow was when he wrote it. His wife had died after...
HIGH TIME
By Lloyd L. Streeter “And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.” Romans 13:11 We are dealing, in the last paragraph of Romans 13, with an intensely practical portion of...

BALANCE IS NOT EVERYTHING
By Lloyd Streeter, Dan Leeds, Brian Gottchall The byword of our day in evangelical and fundamental circles is the word “balance.” It is a word used as a weapon by some people against anyone who disagrees with them. It is time for believers everywhere to question what...

By Lloyd L. Streeter I believe that we may be on the threshold of the Rapture of the Church and of the Great Tribulation! Recent events such as the world-wide Covid 19 outbreak and the collapse of business and industry, may foreshadow these prophetic events. The...
