Luke 20:25 “And he said unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which be Caesar’s, and unto God the things which be God’s.”
We must be careful to keep separate the things that pertain to the state and those that pertain to God (or the church). We must not give to the government that which belongs to God. We must not give to the government our handling of the Word, our habits of worship, our headship of the church, our heritage of freedom, nor our hiring of personnel.
