Verses 15 and 19 “15Thou shalt also take one ram; and Aaron and his sons shall put their hands upon the head of the ram….19And thou shalt take the other ram; and Aaron and his sons shall put their hands upon the head of the ram.”
Putting hands on the ram which was afterward slain and sacrificed to the Lord was a way of identifying with the sacrifice. We identify with the Lord Jesus. We are counted as being in Him, and He is our sacrifice. Only He can absolve us of sin.
