Verses 10-12 “10And six years thou shalt sow thy land, and shalt gather in the fruits thereof:
11But the seventh year thou shalt let it rest and lie still; that the poor of thy people may eat: and what they leave the beasts of the field shall eat. In like manner thou shalt deal with thy vineyard, and with thy oliveyard.
12Six days thou shalt do thy work, and on the seventh day thou shalt rest: that thine ox and thine ass may rest, and the son of thy handmaid, and the stranger, may be refreshed.”

The annual Sabbaths and Sabbaths of New Moons, etc. were as holy and as important as weekly Sabbaths to Israel and to God. The obvious question then is, why do not today’s “Sabbath keepers” (both those who believe in a Saturday Sabbath and those who believe in a Sunday Sabbath) keep ALL of the Sabbaths? The truth of the matter is that God did not give the Sabbaths to the Church, and never wanted the church to observe any Sabbath. God warns the believer, in the New Testament, about allowing anyone to put that New Testament believer under this part of the Law (Col.2:14-17). Jesus is our only Sabbath.
