Verses 14-16 “14And the LORD said unto Moses, Write this for a memorial in a book, and rehearse it in the ears of Joshua: for I will utterly put out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven.
15And Moses built an altar, and called the name of it Jehovahnissi:

Some people are surprised that there were books or that Moses could write, but this passage shows that these things were so. And Moses built an altar and called it Jehovah-nissi, which means, “The LORD is My Banner.” All of us will march under some flag. A Flag stands for loyalty, love, and defense. So may we be committed to being loyal to the Lord Jesus.
