Matthew 6:13 “And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.”
This Doxology (“For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever, Amen”) is omitted in some modern versions; however, the best manuscripts have it, and several very early church fathers quoted it in their writings. The Bibles used by God’s people through the centuries, the ones wherein God preserved His words, include these wonderful words. We cannot imagine that Jesus would teach His disciples to pray and not teach them to ascribe praise to God. All praise be to God for His glory, His power, and His kingdom!
